Identifies a serum protein produced by the liver and choroid plexus, which is a component of certain amyloid subtypes and can serve as a marker for choroid plexus tumors.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block or cell block - OR - 3 unstained slides for each test requested plus 1-2 additional unstained slides cut at 4µm
Storage and Transportation
Use cold pack for transport. Make sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen.
