IHC

SDHB

Identifies the succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit B (SDHB), a mitochondrial protein. Loss of SDHB expression by IHC indicates a mutation in any SDH subunit (SDHA, SDHB, SDHC, or SDHD) and is used in the evaluation of paragangliomas, pheochromocytomas, and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) associated with SDH deficiency.
