P40

This antibody detects the two isoforms of p63 being the dominant form in basal and myoepithelial cells and in squamous cell carcinomas of the lung and other sites. Because p40 is more specific than p63, its use helps prevent misinterpreting p63-positive adenocarcinomas as squamous cell carcinomas.
