Quantitative allele-specific PCR assay for the detection of the JAK2 V617F mutation, commonly found in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Test report includes a bar graph to trend the mutation load which is useful for monitoring response to clinical treatment and can be used as a predictive marker.

Specimen Requirements
Whole blood (5 mL), Bone marrow(2 mL), in Lavender-top (EDTA) tube. Sodium Heparin tubes are acceptable.
Storage and Transportation
Use cold pack for transport. Make sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen.
