PCR assay used to detect clonal immunoglobulin receptor kappa-chain (IGK) gene in the Vk, intragenic,and Jk regions; to confirm the diagnosis of lymphomas, staging or monitoring of various lymphomas and to differentiate from other B-cell lymphoproliferative diseases.

Specimen Requirements

Whole blood (3-5 mL), Bone marrow (1-2 mL), in Lavender-top (EDTA). Formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block (preferred) or slides (1 H&E slide,plus 5-10 unstained slides cut at 5+ microns). Please use positively charged slides and 10% NBF fixative. Do not use zinc fixatives. Fresh tissue, two pieces minimum,0.2 cm3 in RPMI medium.

Storage and Transportation

Use cold pack but not in direct contact with specimen. Not suitable for freeze & hold option.
